Thankfully that forfeit by the Souls means that it isn't a 4 way playoff.

Guess at least one of these long term Premiership teams will have to get used to slumming it in Div one! Oh what will the neighbours say?????

Well there is "supposed" to be a play-off but at the moment the 3 teams cannot agree on a date/s. I have given them until the end of September to play or we will revert to the ISF ruling on a 3-way tie for the decision.

i guess that the biggest problem, when teams are left to organise things amongst themselves, is that no one is (understandably) willing to agree to a date unless they can field their strongest team

hopefully the september ultimatum issued by Admin will encourage the procrastinators to get the games on!

Would it not be better if Admin just set dates rather than all three teams saying No to each other..... as it Stands Bats have the most runs against so would finish bottom of the three.

Surely if a league rule states play-offs, play-offs must be played otherwise every year if goes to play-offs the team with the better runs against will just keep saying no.

Looking to have these games next week. I don't think it's a case of simply saying No for each date offered but if a team does not have enough bodies available, never mind a strongest team, then clearly they will not be able to play. Each of the three teams had strong enough reasons for not being able to play this week or over the coming weekends so trying to resolve as quickly and fairly as possible.

All you players out there may still get a request to play next week so don't put your bat or glove away in hibernation yet!?!
